So season six, recap, Maz. Another uh season under our belt. I guess we want to start by saying thank you to our guests. Uh, we couldn't do it without you all volunteering your time. So thank you, Tiffany, Rich, Emily, Jeff, Paul, Richard, Pideg, and Charles. And then last but by no means least, Daniel, uh, who took us from episode 41 to 48. It sounds a little bit crazy saying that, 48 episodes later, almost two years, but here we are. Uh Maz, what are your thoughts on the episode on the season? Any particular episodes stood out to you?
SPEAKER_02
Uh, yeah, of course. Um, before though, we always have to thank our listeners. Can't do it without them. Had some some great listenership this season. I think uh you'll give a bit of a recap on that shortly. But thank you to everyone who's tuned in and shared and liked and subscribed. In terms of my favorite episode, hands down with Jeff from We Are Burgers. Well what the reason I really, really like Jeff's episode was because it's it's working, talking about franchises, just something I haven't worked in professionally at all. For me, that's really rare. A lot of complicated data issues talking about DoorDash and how they can't identify a customer from DoorDash and how you tie that to a CRM and then email marketing accurates and loyalty programs. Really, really, really interesting episode for me at least. Second best, or do you want to go first?
SPEAKER_01
Yeah, well, actually, I'll jump on Jeff's as well. Um, I also have that as one of my personal favorites for many of the reasons you you mentioned. I found it interesting for two reasons. One, I like the marketing perspective. That's not something we've had a lot of on our show to date. We've had a couple of episodes, but it is something um that I particularly enjoy. I find it interesting. And also the restaurant industry, as you know, it's it's something you know that impacts us all weekly. We all order food, download you know, Uber Eats or DoorDash and order these takeaways, you know, some more than others, but I do once a week. So uh it was uh interesting to see how on the flip side of things as a consumer, as a customer, how does that have an impact on restaurant loyalty programs and adjacent platforms to CRM? Um, I thought it was just really cool. I mean, we could have talked all day. So I will say that was probably also my favorite because it was an unknown territory. Uh, what about number two for you, Maz? What would you say yours was?
SPEAKER_02
I mean, it was the two is a little bit harder. Um, I like Tiffany's episode quite a bit. Rich Walker's, I think, stood out the most for me. One, because I know him personally, um, we're actually working with him on building his app for his company, Quick. It's it's it was a very different episode. He's not really a Salesforce user, he's more of a servicing Salesforce user with a custom product that's very parallel to it, heavy, heavy on the AI workflow, customer experience. So, really great looking at designing technology products for use within the the CRM ecosystem. So, to me, really, really interesting uh episode. Um, and again, someone I I know and work with regularly.
SPEAKER_01
So a lot, a lot you could probably relate to in that case. I think that's sometimes what it comes down to when picking favorites, right? It's um the stories I've seen. Yeah, right. Okay, but um, I think yeah, I've always enjoyed change management, so it was where I started my recruitment career was primarily helping businesses find talent that could support change management initiatives uh in the UK, and it's always uh been near and dear to my interest areas. So I will say I'm gonna go with different Richard, uh Richard Cadeg, uh, for episode number two of my uh, you know, of my uh top choice. But I do have an honorary third shout-out. But the reason I enjoyed uh Richard's episode and I enjoyed uh Rich Walker's episode as well, but AI, I think um I was glad you were on that that episode that got a little bit technical at times, so uh you definitely helped me out a little bit there. But um, for Richard Kadeg's episode, and anyone who's interested in change management, um, the thing I like about change management, it's a bit like recruitment. You can never complete it, there's always more that you can do. And um, I liked his unique approach, his style. It might not be for everyone, but I quite enjoy it, you know. And obviously, I have a lot of time for somebody that captures their experience and um puts the effort into documenting it. So uh shout out to his book as well. If you're into change management, check out his book on Amazon. I did like Charles's episode as well, uh, because we do get a lot of interest from listeners on greenfield implementations. There's always that level of curiosity around them, and you know, his alone would be worth the listen for anyone that was or is interested in greenfield implementations. Charles talks about how standard bio tools um went through that you know implementation and and is definitely worth a listen. So I think that brings us to what is next. Uh Maz, as you know, we're already busy uh recording season seven. Uh, what are you looking forward to with uh the new season?
SPEAKER_02
A lot more of the same, really, really expanding into different industries. Of course, Claude Force, I think, is is going to be probably a big topic later in the season as we as we start recording episodes past past Dreamforce. Massive move by Salesforce. Uh, so I think that's going to continue probably rolling into season eight with that. So, yeah, the AI stuff picking up in a big way.
SPEAKER_01
I think um I would like to see maybe another Agent Force story or two. I think when we started out the podcast uh 18 months ago, it didn't have the best early reputation, and it's since built on that quite significantly. Obviously, with Claude Force, what does that mean for Agent Force? Who knows? So uh I think that could be an interesting topic, maybe some more use cases there. But uh I know we're gonna have uh at least another MVP on the show, another marketing perspective as well. So um I think there's some good stuff there to come. Uh it should be another action-packed eight episodes, and uh it'll take us into early next year. Uh the last thing I I I think is worth calling out as well, uh it was a landmark month. Uh, we we surpassed our goal of 5k uh on YouTube in terms of views. Um, so again, massive thanks to everyone that uh checked them out. If you haven't checked our YouTube channel out, uh we do record the uh podcasts via video as well, if you prefer to uh you know watch rather than listen. And we also do capture 60, 90 second quick video highlights uh on our YouTube short channel as well. Um if you want to just have a quick skim through before downloading an episode, get a feel for the guest uh and the topics, you can check that out too. Uh any closing thoughts, Maz?
SPEAKER_02
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're bringing out something we've completely forgot. This past season we launched on every major social media, right? We started Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, no, no Facebook. Yeah, Twitter uh or X. Yeah, and we've been pushing our shorts uh as always onto uh onto LinkedIn. So yeah, we're looking to expand that way. Uh lots of enhancements to the website. We added transcriptions as well. We did some renaming to hopefully increase our SEO. Um, and we're already starting to see the fruits of that. I think on on the podcast apps, we're approaching almost 10k downloads, and then with what YouTube is really, really picking up. It's I think YouTube's eventually going to surpass all the podcast apps together, which basically means Apple and and uh Spotify.
SPEAKER_01
Um I think also as well, we um we do have one of our episodes, which is almost at 500 downloads itself, which is you know one of our first seasons uh with Ethan. Um so that'll be a landmark to keep an eye on. Maybe in our recap uh next time we will be celebrating that too, which is pretty cool. So a lot of exciting things, and uh like I think you nailed it, more of the same. Continue to like, subscribe, share, follow along, and that's it from us. Uh thanks, guys.
